Even though alpine skiing is the prime activity for most visitors to Bydalen in the winter, there are many other things to do. Those who prefer cross-country skiing will enjoy the 30 km of groomed tracks (of which 5 km floodlit for night skiing) together with miles and miles of marked trails for shorter or longer ski touring excursions.
You can also take a walk to the gift shop Fjällfotens Bod (about 800 metres before Bydalen) or go horseback riding on north-Sweden horses (booking in Höglekardalens Semesterby. tel. +46 (0) 643-320 27). Make sure not to miss snowmobile safaris, ice-fishing, shopping in our sports shop and of course, relaxing and dining in Bydalens Kök & Bar.
Children can attend ski school but also après-ski activities such as ‘Barnens After Ski’ with treasure hunts, pillow fights, film time or mini-snowmobile drives.
Before or after dinner at Bydalens Kök & Bar, maybe a moment of relaxation in the sauna or a dip in the wood-heated tub.
